About
A small team in Renton that will tell you what is actually wrong.
branad builds the brand, the website, the search and paid presence, and the automation that turns attention into booked work, for businesses across Renton, King County, and the greater Seattle area.
branad is a digital marketing agency based in Renton, Washington, working with local businesses across King County and the greater Seattle area. We cover brand identity and logo design, printed collateral, web, SEO, local search, paid advertising, social content, AI search optimization, and automation.
Most engagements start with a single channel and expand. For a business that serves a geographic radius, that channel is almost always local SEO and the Google Business Profile, because it produces more per dollar than anything else available.
The thing that distinguishes us is not a proprietary method. It is that we do the unglamorous parts (the profile fields, the tracking setup, the redirect map) that determine whether the rest of the work has any chance of paying off.
What we believe about this work
Most marketing problems are plumbing problems
When a local business is not getting leads, the cause is usually not that the branding is insufficiently bold. It is that the Google Business Profile has the wrong primary category, or the site has no page for the service they want to sell, or nobody tracks phone calls so half the results are invisible, or the missed calls go to a voicemail box nobody checks.
These are boring problems with unglamorous fixes, and they account for most of the gap between businesses that grow through search and businesses that do not. We fix those first, every time, before proposing anything that would look better in a deck.
The order of operations matters more than the tactic list
Every agency offers roughly the same services. The difference is sequencing. Running ads to a site that cannot convert wastes the ad budget. Building content before fixing indexation wastes the content. Chasing Seattle head terms from a domain with no authority wastes a year.
We publish our recommended sequence openly on the services page because it is not a secret. It is just discipline.
If we cannot rank ourselves, the pitch is worthless
We run our own site as a client. Same process, same standards, same monthly cadence, starting from Renton and working outward through King County. The roadmap is written down, the baseline is captured, and the results are measurable by anyone who wants to check.
An agency that cannot demonstrate its own visibility is asking you to take the capability on faith.
Honest reporting includes the parts that did not work
Every month you get a written account: what was done, what moved, what did not, and what changes as a result. Not a dashboard export with no interpretation, and not a selection of the metrics that happened to go up.
When something we tried does not work, it goes in the report. This is a lower-drama way to work and it makes the six-month conversation straightforward rather than defensive.
How we talk about results
We work with a small number of clients across restaurants, food retail, e-commerce, motorsport, and transportation. Where we publish performance figures, they are either real and attributable to a named account with that client's permission, or they are aggregate and clearly labelled as such.
We do not publish invented client names, fabricated logos, or case studies for companies that do not exist. That practice is more common in this industry than it should be, and it is the fastest way to lose the trust of the one prospect who checks.
Service area
Where we work.
We are based in Renton and concentrate on the Puget Sound region. Local search work benefits from actually knowing the market, so we would rather be genuinely useful across King County than nominally national.

Questions
Straight answers.
How big is branad?
Small, deliberately. A six-person team in Renton working with a limited number of clients at a time. The trade-off is explicit: we take fewer accounts than we could, and in exchange the person who audits your account is the person who works on it.
Agencies that scale headcount fast usually do it by standardizing the work, which is how you end up with a monthly report that could describe any client.
Do you require long contracts?
SEO and content work need time to produce results, so we ask for a realistic commitment on those, typically six months, because promising anything meaningful in ninety days would be dishonest. Paid advertising and one-time projects do not carry that requirement.
What we will not do is lock a client into a term and then coast. If the work is not producing by month six, that is a conversation about strategy, not a renewal pitch.
What do you not do?
We do not guarantee rankings, because nobody controls Google's systems and a guarantee usually means targeting a keyword too obscure to matter. We do not build networks of near-identical city pages, because that is a doorway page pattern and Google devalues it. We do not buy links. And we do not publish fabricated case studies or invented client logos.
Who actually does the work?
The team in Renton. We do not subcontract client work to offshore vendors and present it as ours, which is a common arrangement at the price points below us and the reason a lot of agency work is indistinguishable from a template.
